Study on 9 Genetic Characteristics in Head and Faceof Han Nationality’s Female Group in Tianjin, China

Abstract: This study aims to investigate the 9 genetic characteristics in head and face of Han nationality’s female group in Tianjin. Based on the investigation of 301 Tianjin Han female individuals, investigation and analysis of the Mongoloid fold, eyefold of the upper eyelid, front tooth type, nostril type, mandibular type, lobe type, hair line and hair types of the 9 face of genetics were taken. The results are as follows: (1)The ratio of Tianjin Han women individuals’ shovel type incisors, convex nose, narrow nostril and curly hair rate are relatively high, which are 96.01%, 18.94%, 31.89% and 29.24%. While that of Mongoloid fold, convex jaw and earlobe rate are in the middle level, which are 72.76%, 20.60% and 77.41% and that of upper eyelid fold is relatively low in the country, which is 73.75%. (2)The correlation among the 9 genetic characteristics was not obvious. (3)Cluster analysis of head and face genetic characteristics shows that there is a similarity between Han nationality in Tianjin and Han nationality in Anhui and Jiangsu. Thus, the characteristics of head and face of Han female individuals in Tianjin are similar to those in Anhui and Jiangsu, China.
