Moving bottleneck is one of the important causes of highway congestion. To effectively alleviate this problem, it is proposed to establish a micro-macro model of the interaction between moving bottleneck and surrounding traffic. An internal prediction model is built based on constraints and optimization goals, which can minimize costs. Based on the function to evaluate the impact of the model on traffic flow, a flow control model problem is proposed. According to the MPC (model predictive control) method, the initial flow is optimized and controlled, and the macro simulation analysis is performed using Matlab. The simulation results show that the control method improves the optimization target by more than 5% compared with the uncontrolled condition, and the highway operating efficiency is improved. In view of the fact that the permeability of automatic vehicles will continue to increase in the next few years, the use of controlled traffic flow to regulate the traffic has a promising prospects.

To solve the problems of long time consuming and large amount of work in battery aging test, the battery aging process is described as calendar aging and cyclic aging, and the calendar aging model and cyclic aging model are established respectively based on the existing battery aging research. Taking the current flowing through the battery as the conversion condition, the two models are integrated into the dynamic aging model of the battery. Based on the dynamic aging model of the battery, the capacity attenuation rate of the power battery under short-time and multi-condition switching conditions can be estimated. The model is built in the computer environment, and the battery aging simulation test under three different charging schemes are carried out. The battery aging process is simulated in a shorter simulation time, which reduces the cost of verifying the battery aging.

Journal of Guangxi Normal University(Natural Science Edition). 2020, 38 (3):  19-24.  DOI: 10.16088/j.issn.1001-6600.2020.03.003
Abstract ( 152 )   PDF(pc) (641KB) ( 191 )   Save
In this paper, the influence of the connection topology and coupling strength of complex neural networks on their firing behavior is studied. Firstly, a Newman-Watts small world neural network is established by using magnetic field-coupled memristive Hodgkin-Huxley (HH) neurons as nodes and taking the connections between neurons as edges. Then the firing modes of neural network are studied by changing the connection topology probability and coupling strength. It is found that for a given coupling strength, when the connection topology probability is close to zero, the neural network has no firing behavior; while the connection topology probability is larger than the threshold, the neurons in the network will have a discharge phenomenon. As the connection topology probability p further increases, the firing intensity becomes larger. The results show that the connection topology probability p can induce and enhance the electrical activity of the neural network. It is expected that this reseach can provide useful insights into understanding the collective dynamics of real coupled neurons.

In view of the instability of the output power caused by the strong randomness of wave height and frequency in wave energy generation, it’s proposed to use the prediction data of wave energy generation power to assist the accurate operation of energy storage system (physical energy storage and chemical energy storage) to stabilize its volatility. The prediction data is predicted based on the wave energy generation power prediction method combining with the Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) and the Back Propagation Neural Network (BP). The experiment is conducted by using two-year weather data and 245-day wave energy generation power data from an island in the South China Sea, and three predicted time span LSTM-BP models are trained and tested. The prediction results of the power of a wave energy generation boat are given at different time spans. It’s showed that the LSTM-BP model can be used to predict the output power of wave energy generation well.

Private Information Retrieval Schemes with Erasure-correcting or Error-correcting Properties
GE Yifei, ZHENG Yanbin
Journal of Guangxi Normal University(Natural Science Edition). 2020, 38 (3):  33-44.  DOI: 10.16088/j.issn.1001-6600.2020.03.005
Abstract ( 214 )   PDF(pc) (1383KB) ( 231 )   Save
Private information retrieval (PIR) is a classic problem in theoretical computer science and cryptography. In recent years, new directions on PIR arise due to its connection with distributed storage systems. A distributed storage system containing N servers and storing a database of M files is studied. It is supposed that each file is stored independently via an (N,K)-MDS code. A PIR scheme allows a user to retrieve a specific file from the database privately and any T colluding servers cannot learn any information about the index of the retrieved file. A key problem is to analyze the PIR rate, which is the maximal number of bits privately retrieved per one downloaded bit. Optimal PIR schemes have been constructed in the classic model. In real life applications, the transmission of data suffers from erasures, noises, or even being intentionally tampered by a third party. Therefore, in this paper, PIR schemes with erasure-correcting and error-correcting properties are considered. Based on the PIR schemes in classic settings, additional coding strategies are used to bring in more redundancy among the queries and thus obtain PIR schemes suitable for erasure-correcting and error-correcting models. In addition, the PIR rates for these schemes are computed.

The structure of negative binomial regression model selection is constructed, and the asymptotic properties of logarithmic likelihood function and its dependence on relation function in model selection are studied. The law of iterated logarithm for maximum likelihood estimation of model parameters is derived, and the strong consistency criterion for selecting such models is established. It is proved that under some general conditions, if the order of penalty terms increases with the dimension of the model and is between O(lnln n) and O(n), the model selection criterion consisting of negative maximum logarithmic likelihood and penalty terms almost necessarily chooses the simplest correct model.

Synthesis of Water-Soluble Ketone-Aldehyde Resins by Catalysis of Solid Base
XU Peng, LI Chaofeng, CHANG Xinwei, ZHANG Yanwu
Journal of Guangxi Normal University(Natural Science Edition). 2020, 38 (3):  70-79.  DOI: 10.16088/j.issn.1001-6600.2020.03.009
Abstract ( 310 )   PDF(pc) (1789KB) ( 308 )   Save
Ketone-aldehyde resins are widely used to improve the gloss and adhesion of coatings due to its good solubility and compatibility. It’s inevitable to develop waterborne coatings because of environmental problems caused by the generation of VOC during the production and use of solvent-based coatings. Therefore, coating additives such as ketone-aldehyde resins must meet the demand for being waterborne. Ketone-aldehyde resins with low molecular weight were synthesized by the catalysis of solid base hydrotalcite and their water solubility were investigated. The reaction kinetics was primarily studied by monitoring the consumption of formaldehyde during the reaction. The effects of reaction conditions on the yield and viscosity of resins were investigated, and the synthesis process of water-soluble ketone-aldehyde resins was optimized. The results showed that aldol condensation and intermolecular dehydration occured simultaneously during the reaction. Under more suitable reaction conditions (molar ratio of formaldehyde to cyclohexanone: 1.2∶1.0, reaction temperature: 90 °C and amount of hydrotalcite added: 10% by mass of cyclohexanone), the yield and viscosity of resins were 86.42% and 0.46 Pa·s respectively.

It’s necessary to compare and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of infrared camera surveys with different sampling strategies to further understand the performance of biodiversity monitoring programs. From August 2012 to April 2015, 35 infrared cameras and 32 infrared cameras were set according to a hectare grid sampling strategy, and a square kilometer grid sampling strategy, respectively, at Nonggang National Nature Reserve to monitor mammals and forest birds continuously. It’s found that: (1) Within the same survey duration, accumulation of mammal species information in the kilometer grid sampling strategy was faster than those in the hectare grid sampling strategy; (2) There was no significant difference in the number of species detected by the two sampling strategies, but species composition was different; (3) Sampling rate and utilization rate for large and medium-sized mammals were higher in the kilometer grid sampling strategy, whereas sampling rate of small mammals was higher in the hectare grid sampling strategy. These results suggested that different sampling strategies may be required for different taxonomic groups and research questions.

Wild type (Sdr9c7+/+) and heterozygote type (Sdr9c7+/-) male mice were used to analyze the effects of Sdr9c7 gene on the growth and development under regular chow diets and high-fat diets, and the physiological and biochemical indicators of blood and liver steatosis of mice under high-fat diets were also measured. Results: (1) Compared with Sdr9c7+/+ mice, Sdr9c7+/- mice developed normally, and there was no significant difference in their body weight curves. (2) When the mice fed with high-fat diet to 15 weeks of age, there was no difference in the level of blood glucose (GLU), serum total cholesterol (TCHO), triglyceride (TG), low-density cholesterol (LDL), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), alanine aminotransferase (AST), urea (BUN) and creatinine (CREA) of the mice between the two groups. At the age of 28 weeks under high-fat diets, the AST and ALT levels in the heterozygote group were significantly increased (P<0.05), suggesting that Sdr9c7 might be associated with hepatitis, but there was no significant difference in liver coefficient and cell vacuole area of paraffin section, indicating that Sdr9c7 gene had no effect on hepatic steatosis.

In this research, two community types of felling interferes clonal production (FICP) and non-interfering clonal production (NICP) in Alchornea trewioides were studied in the karst habitat of Guilin. The multivariate statistical method was used to analyze ground diameter, numbers of ramets and basal diameter of the front part and the rear part, to discuss the clonal characteristics of A. trewioides for adaption to karst habitat, in order to provide guidance for vegetation restoration in the karst areas. The results showed that (1) the roots of A. trewioide were weak in branching, and strong directions. The ramets were not dense, showing as "guerrilla" clone plants. (2) FICP promoted clonal reproduction of A. trewioide. (3) The ramets’ survival rate of FICP was lower than that of NICP, indicating more obvious risk allocation in FICP than NICP. (4) There was an asymmetry between lateral roots of the front and rear parts: The lateral root of the rear part was smaller than the front one, when the ground diameter was less than 0.2 cm. However, when the ground diameter was more than 0.2 cm, the lateral root of the rear part was larger than the front one.
