Diversity of Migratory Birds in Jiuwan Mountain, Guangxi, China

Abstract: The diversity of migratory birds was studied in Jiuwan Mountain, Guangxi Province during the springs and falls in 2015 and 2016. Totally, 23 731 of 107 species, which belong to 12 family, 27 orders were recorded. There is a predominance of Ardeidae, Hirundinidae, Cuculidae in this area. And the dominant species were Ardeola bacchus (27.44%), Egretta garzetta (15.59%), Bubulcus ibis (11.05%) and Cecropis daurica (6.42%). The study contributes to the knowledge of migrating birds, alternative migration species of Guangxi, and also constructs some conservational advices to the migrating birds in Jiuwan Mountain.
