Route Selection Behavior of Subway Passengers under Short-term Events

Abstract: In order to study the travel behavior of travelers under the short-term event of rail transit, firstly, the travel behavior of travelers on the way is divided into three categories. Then, the prospect theory is introduced to describe its travel behavior from the perspectives of three factors: travel time,travel expenses and transfer times. Based on the Logit model,a traffic loading model is built. Finally,taking Guangzhou Tower subway station as the research subject,this paper analyzes the passengers’ choice of road behavior when the subway is not stopped,and compares the passengers’ sensitivity to the number of transfer times and the increase of the number of transfer times. The results show that when the passenger is sensitive to the number of transfers or the increased number of transfers, the line flow is inversely related to the number of transfers. The passengers’ path selection behavior is influenced by the objective value of the three factors and the subjective preference of the passenger.
