Synthesis,Structural Characterization and Magnetic Property of Cu[N(CH2OH)2CH2O](SCN)

Abstract: A supramolecular coordination polymer Cu[N(CH2OH)2CH2O](SCN) (1) has been synthesized and its structure has been characterized by elemental analyses,infrared spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and single crystal X-ray diffraction structure analysis.The molecule of compound 1 has the discrete structure which is linked by the intermolecular O—H…O hydrogen bonds into one-dimensional chain.This compound displays antiferromagnetic interaction.
