Abstract: The study of 2-designs with highly symmetric properties, for example, block-transitivity, is one of the leading subjects in design theory. Most of the studies of block-transitive 2-designs hitherto focus on the case that the automorphism group is point-primitive. Thus, the point-imprimitive case becomes a hot issue in the field. The main aim of this article is to study the classification of block-transitive 2-designs with point-imprimitive automorphism group ScwrSd and determine all such 2-(v,k,λ) designs with v=cd and 30<v≤50.

Key words: 2-design, automorphism group, block-transitive, imprimitive
