Preparation of IgG-Encapsulated Silver Nanoparticles by Photoreduction

Abstract: IgG-encapsulated Ag nanoparticles were obtained by asimple photoreduction method.The prepared samples were characterized by TEM and XRD.The resultsshowed that Ag nanoparticles with diameters about 20 nm were fabricated withinIgG.The solutions obtained are opaque and yellow-brown in colors,but became transparent and exhibited different colors when viewed through white light.A tentative mechanism was proposed for the formation of the special optical phenomenon.
