Antioxidant Activities of Different Solvents Extracts and Alkaloids of Uncaria rhynchophylla (Miq.)Jacks

Abstract: The antioxidant activities of petroleum ether extract(PE),chloroform extract (CE),ethyl acetate extract (AE),ethanolic extract (EE),and alkaloids ofUncaria rhynchophylla (Miq.)Jacks.were determined with flow-injection chemiluminescence and compared with Vitamin C (Vc).The results indicated that all extracts exhibit excellent antioxidant activities.The antioxidant activities were in the sequence of EE>Vc>AE >CE>Alk>PE.
