Abstract: In order to understand the characteristics and phylogenetic information of the Sinipercids, which may be benefit to the evolutionary genetics and selection of molecular markers, fifteen pairs of primers were used to amplify the contiguous, overlapping segments complete mitochondrial genome of Siniperca undulata. The genomes was deposited in the GenBank with accession numbers KJ644783. The organization of S. undulata mitochondrial genomes was similar to that of other teleost species containing 37 genes (13 protein-coding genes, 2 ribosomal RNA, and 22 transfer RNAs) and a major non-coding control region. Great preference was observed in A and C, the G contents was 16.23% which is relatively low. The results showed that the CO1, ND5, CYTB and ND4 play a good role in analysis of the molecular adaptive evolution. In addition, the phylogeny evolution demonstrated that the Sinipercids which were divided into two genes: Siniperca and Coreoperca.

Key words: Siniperca undulata, mitochondrial, codon preference, informative efficiencies, phylogeny
