Feature Analysis of Geological Heritages in North Gulf Economic Zone, Guangxi

Abstract: The geological heritages are the tourism resources with unique features and advantages in North Gulf economic zone, Guangxi. Based on the first systematic investigation of the geological heritages resources in this region, the paper firstly counted the distribution characteristics of 201 important geological heritages in the administrative division units. Then, these classification features were analyzed according to the classification program of geological heritages landscape, and the main geological heritages features, such as rock landscapes, volcano landscapes, water landscapes, marine abrasion-accumulation landscapes, spring landscapes and waterfall landscapes. Finally, the geological heritages were graded using the comprehensive evaluation standard of geological heritages landscape.
