Stability Analysis of a Class of Epidemic Model with Diffusion

Abstract: A class of SIR epidemic model with diffusion is investigated in this paper. Firstly, the stability of the equilibria of the corresponding ordinary differential equations is considered. Secondly, the stability of the steady states of the model with diffusion is considered; Finally, some simulations are carried out by using Matlab. The simulations verify the relative theoretical analysis. Both of theoretical analysis and the simulations show that the outbreak of the epidemics is inevitable.
