Newly Recorded Taxa of Pteridophytes in Guangdong, China

Abstract: Nineteen species and a variety of pteridophytes from eight families are newly recorded in Guangdong province. These species include Selaginella bisulcata, Angiopteris helferiana, Athyrium guangnanense, Diplazium maximum, D. incomptum, Deparia unifurcata, Dryopteris pseudocaenopteris, Polystichum chunii, P. craspedosorum, Pteris amoena, Coniogramme rubicaulis, C. intermedia var. glabra, Aleuritopteris chrysophylla, Microlepia platyphylla, Metathelypteris hattorii, Macrothelypteris viridifrons, Parathelypteris indochinensis, Pronephrium parishii, Leptogramma tottoides and Lepisorus asterolepis. Habitat and characteristic features of each species are described, and the distributions are supplemented. All the voucher specimens are preserved in Shanghai Chenshan Herbarium (CSH).
