Abstract: Expression of EB virus micro RNA (ebv-miR) ebv-miR-BART19-5p and ebv-miR-BART21-3p was analyzed by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR in nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC) and nasopharyngeal inflammation tissue, so as to ascertain the internal relation and significance between the expression of ebv-miRs and EB virus (EBV) induced NPC. The results showed that the expression of ebv-miR-BART19-5p and ebv-miR-BART21-3p were significantly higher in NPC tissue than that in nasopharyngeal mucosa inflammation tissue. EBV may mediate carcinogenesis of nasopharyngeal epithelium through the expression of ebv-miR-BART19-5p and ebv-miR-BART21-3p, which are likely to be molecular markers and molecular targets for diagnosis and treatment of NPC.

Key words: nasopharyngeal carcinoma, diagnosis marker, ebv-miR
