Abstract: Mesoporous silica nanoparticles with controlled particle sizes and pore diameters were obtained by fine tuning the synthesis parameters. Experimental results showed that mesoporous silica particles with smaller particle size could be obtained at higher reaction temperature and concentration of NaOH. In addition, the pore diameter of mesoporous silica could be expanded by adding of TMB into the reaction solution.
