Studies on the Chemical Constituents of Caulis Alsophilae

Abstract: Twenty compounds of Caulis Alsophilae were isolated and purified by silica gel, macroporous resin adsorption, MCI GEL CHP-20P, Flash C18 and Sephadex LH-20P chromatography. Their structures were identified as stigmasterol (1), palmiticacid (2), n-tridecane (3), lupeol (4), p-hydroxycinnamic acid (5), glycerolmon-opalmitate (6), 24(R)-24-ethyl-6β-hydroxyl-4-cholestenol-3-ketone (7), 24(R)-24-ethyl-5α- cholestane-3β,5α,6β-triol (8), ferulicacid (9), emodin (10), vitexin (11), apigenin (12), dihydrogenapigenin (13), 3, 4-dihydroxy benzeneacrylic-acid (14), heptadec-(9Z)-enoic acid (15), rutin (16), inoseavin A (17), salvinisideⅡ (18), 4-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-p-coumaric acid (19) and isoquercitrin (20). Compounds 1~5, compounds 7~10, compound 13, compounds 15~18 and compound 20 were isolated from Caulis Alsophilae for the first time.
