Reflection on Training of Applied Talents Based on Guangxi ChemistryExperimental Skills Competition for College Students

Abstract: Applied talents play indispensable roles in social and economic development. Firstly, the internal relationship between the intension of chemistry experimental skills competition and the applied talents training are discussed from the perspectives of cultivating applied talents, combined with college students’ chemistry experimental skills competition of colleges and universities in Guangxi province. Then, the relationship between chemistry experimental skills competition and the applied talents training is discussed from two aspects: promoting the development of the cultivation of chemical applied talents and providing effective support for the competition of cultivation of chemical applied talents. Finally, effective measures for cultivating applied talents are discussed from the following aspects in order to provide new ideas for promoting the training of chemical talents in Guangxi province, such as, improving the training system of applied talents, promoting the reform of discipline construction, improving the curriculum of applied talents training, constructing of diversified practice platform for application-oriented personnel training, and optimizing the construction of teaching staff.
